Chris Cuomo Spoke To His Deaceased Father, Mario, As His Fever Continues During Coronavirus Battle

Chris Cuomo, being the consummate journalist that he is, continued with his show on Wednesday, April 1, 2020, on CNN, only he streamed from the basement of his house. Chris tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus and is experiencing excruciating symptoms. He even hallucinated that he was speaking to his deceased father, former New York governor Mario Cuomo. Now that Chris is experiencing Coronavirus first hand, he isn’t just reporting on the story, but is on the front lines, sharing his experience with others as well as telling other’s stories. In addition to sharing his own story, Chris spoke to heartbroken Arnold Vargas. Arnold lost his husband, Dr. Frank Garbin, who sacrificed his own life to treat Coronavirus patients in New York hospitals before succumbing to the virus. Arnold Vargas is now experiencing Coronavirus symptoms himself.

Speaking on his show Cuomo Prime Time, Chris discussed shivering from a fever and developing rigors so bad that he chipped a tooth. He said that he felt like someone was beating him like a pinata. He then said he began hallucinating and his father was talking to him.

Chris Cuomo stated the following on the show.

“I’ve never seen anything like it. I’ve had a fever, you’ve had a fever. But 102, 103, 103 plus… that wouldn’t quit. And it was like somebody was beating me like a pinata. I shivered so much that… I chipped my tooth. I was up all night, I’m telling you, I was hallucinating. My dad was talking to me. I was seeing people from college, people I hadn’t seen in forever. It was freaky, what I went through last night. And it may happen again tonight.”

Chris Cuomo continued his show and delivered a heart-wrenching interview with Arnold Vargas as they honored the memory and legacy of Dr. Frank Garbin.

Chris also pointed out that Dr. Frank Garbin didn’t have to die and that if he had the proper PPE that he needed to do his job, he would have been protected. Chris Cuomo is making it abundantly clear that our nation’s health care workers are on the front lines and they are not being adequately protected.
