Lil’ Uzi Vert Says He’s Got New Music To ‘Troll’ The ‘Old Heads’

Over the last few years, fans have been disappointed in Lil’ Uzi Vert for not releasing as much music as they hoped for. Hot New Hip Hop recently picked up on a post from the young star in which he stated that he had more work coming out soon.

According to HNHP, Lil’ Uzi Vert loves to tease new music without actually releasing any. For years, he told fans that he had a follow-up to his beloved, LUV IS Rage 2, and in March of this year, the rapper finally delivered.

Just one week after, he dropped another album, LUV Vs. The World 2, but he’s apparently still coming up with new material. On Friday, the rapper dropped a brand new track called “Sasuke” but fans didn’t like it as much as he hoped.

Since then, Lil’ Uzi Vert has announced he still has more music coming out, but not out of respect for his fans. The rapper stated he was dropping new material to spite all of the old school hip-hop fans who purportedly can’t get used to the change in musical style.

On his Twitter account, the rapper said he was going to show all the “old a** n*ggas” the “F*CKING HITS.” Lil’ Uzi Vert went on to say he had “SLAPS.” Apparently, he was just trolling the “old heads.”

One fan, in particular, questioned why the rapper felt the need to explain himself so much. Rather than ignore the prompt, Lil’ Uzi Vert went on to explain, even more, stating that many of the retired rappers out there just love to hate as a means of getting oxygen.

It’s not clear who he’s referring to, but regardless, it looks like fans can look forward to new music in the future. In other news, Vert and Playboi Carti have officially moved past their bad blood.

This may be a sign that their previously unreleased project will come to fruition and fans will finally get to listen to it.
