XXXTentacion’s Alleged Killer Fears For His Life Due To COVID-19

XXXTentacion was tragically shot and killed in the summer of 2018 at a motorcycle dealership in Florida. A group of men rolled up to the rising star in the parking lot, shot him, and ran off with some of his belongings. It was easily one of the more tragic moments for the hip-hop community that year.

Fast forward to 2020, and the world is currently on lockdown as it deals with the spread of coronavirus, which originated in Wuhan, China. Currently, much of North America is shut down to thwart the spread of the virus.

Moreover, COVID-19 has even disseminated throughout the prison system. For that reason, many celebrities and regular inmates have been trying their best to serve out the rest of their sentences under home confinement, which some of them have been granted.

According to Hot New Hip Hop, the alleged killer of XXXTentaction asked to be released from prison and also claims a prison officer intentionally gave an inmate COVID-19. If the general population was not prepared for the virus, it’s easy to understand that prisons wouldn’t be either.

The outlet recently picked up on a letter written by one of the accused, Dedrick Williams, who fired it off to the judge, asking for an early release on account of the virus. According to Dedrick, “a deputy at the Broward County Main jail” gave a convict the virus.

(AllHipHop News) One of the guys accused of murdering rap star XXXTentacion is begging a judge to spare his, according to a letter obtained by AllHipHop.com. Dedrick Williams is one of four men being held without bond over the brutal, broad daylight execution of XXXTentacion in front of a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida in June of 2018. Williams wrote an emotionally charged letter to Judge Michael Usan, pleading to be released on bond until the pandemic "blows over." "I am sending you this letter to save my life," Dedrick Williams' letter begins. "Recently a deputy at the Broward County main jail gave an inmate the coronavirus. This matter makes me afraid because my immune system is very weak. And here at the jail they aren't testing anyone… "I ask for this request so my children won't be without a father and my mom without a son. Please and thank you judge and I hope that you and your family are safe as well," Dedrick Williams wrote to the Judge.

Williams went on to say in his letter that the allegation made him fear for his life because his immune system is not strong enough to fight off COVID-19.

The accused asked for the judge to let him serve out the rest of his sentence at home until the prison situation is under control.

He finished off his letter by stating that the idea behind letting him out would be so his child would have a father and his mother would have a son. It’s not clear what the judge will decide, but it’s not improbable to assume the judge will deny his request considering he, ironically, took XXXTentacion from his mother.
