Ramadan 2020: The story of Noah (how idolatory Began)

The records of the flood in the Jewish and Christian customs recognize Noah just like a noble man in a world squashed under the heaviness of wrongdoing and disbelief.  The Quran and the maxims of Prophet Muhammad, may the benevolence and endowments of God arrive, instruct us that Prophet Noah was an encouraging sign among the relatives of Adam in a time where sin and disorder had surpassed the individuals.

Humankind had been one network having faith in the Oneness of God, yet disarray and deviation had crawled in.  Noah was a quiet, tolerant man who called his kin to come back to the love of the One True God.  He was an outstanding speaker, charging people around him to leave the love of symbols, and to hear his notice of an awful discipline for the individuals who loved icons and sculptures.

“And indeed We sent Noah to his people and he said O my people!  Worship God!  You have no other god but Him.” (Quran 23:23)

Noah described anecdotes about the secrets of life and the miracles of the universe.  He depicted how the day, which gives daylight and action, followed the night that gives coolness and rest.  He talked about God, the Divine Creator Who possessed paradise and earth, and he brought up the ampleness and magnificence of the earth. Noah clarified that the formation of the world was for the prosperity of humankind; yet that man likewise had a commitment to get this and direct his love to God, not bogus deities.  When Noah started to talk about the discipline that anticipated worshipers of another god, his kin got angry and furious.

THE BEGINNING OF IDOLATRY

Prophet Muhammad educated us that there were ten ages between Prophets Adam and Noah.We realize this was an extremely enormous timeframe, as Noah himself lived longer than a century, and individuals before lived much more.

In those years, among Adam and Noah there were ages of individuals that recalled the laws educated by Adam and adored God correctly.  The years passed and the individuals overlooked; now and again, the honorable men among them helped the individuals to remember their commitments to God.  As time kept on proceeding onward, the upright men started to kick the bucket, and Satan came murmuring to the individuals who had admired them, placing musings into their psyches in his shrewd, sly way.

Satan enlivened the great individuals to make sculptures of the exemplary men.  along these lines, Satan stated, they would recall the honorable individuals and in this way make sure to venerate God.  The great individuals constructed sculptures in their gathering places and their homes, and Satan disregarded them until everybody had overlooked the explanation the sculptures existed.  Many years after the fact, the insidious Satan showed up among the individuals once more, this time proposing that they adore the symbols straightforwardly.

A real portrayal of Prophet Muhammad summarizes the start of excessive admiration in the accompanying way.  Ibn Abbass, a nearby friend of the Prophet Muhammad stated:

“The names (of the idols) formerly belonged to some pious men of the people of Noah, and when they died Satan inspired their people to prepare and place idols at the places where they used to sit, and to call those idols by their names.  The people did so, but the idols were not worshipped till those people (who initiated them) had died and the origin of the idols had become obscure, whereupon people began worshipping them.” (Saheeh Al-Bukhari)
