Joe Giudice Reveals The Moment He Knew His Marriage To Teresa Was Over

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice has revealed ahead of Wednesday’s season finale the moment he knew his 20-year marriage to Teresa Giudice was over. Juicy Joe shared a video clip on Instagram over the weekend, and explained in the caption that this was his “AHA moment.”

The father of four posted a clip from the upcoming RHONJ season finale that featured Teresa refusing to sleep in the same bed with Joe during her trip to Italy last November because she felt uncomfortable.

That was my moment of insight. I felt rejected. This is the first time while filming a scene, I had severe anxiety and grief. I was up for four years, any human would have a psychological impact of prison life. This was the moment, I knew deep in my heart she was being difficult with me for a reason. My wife has never said no to sleeping with me. I had to walk away. I don’t have resentment against her(her emotions are justified). it was off guard should have been private. I realized I must be responsible for only my kids that’s what matters. Teresa and the couple’s four daughters – Gia, 19, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 14, and Audriana, 11 – flew to Italy to reunite with Joe after he was released from ICE custody in October.

Along with the RHONJ clip, Joe also posted a montage of pics of himself with Teresa and his girls from the past two decades.

“That was my moment of insight. I felt rejected,” wrote Joe. “This is the first time while filming a scene, I had severe anxiety and grief. I was up for four years, any human would have a psychological impact of prison life. This was the moment, I knew deep in my heart she was being difficult with me for a reason.”

The 47-year-old added that his wife has never said no to sleeping with him, and he had to walk away. Joe explained that he didn’t have any resentment towards his wife because her emotions are justified. However, Joe says it caught him off guard and he wished the moment would have been private.

Joe finished his message by writing that he realizes he must be responsible only for his kids, and that’s what matters. He wants to provide, encourage, and embrace them with love in their limited time together.

The reunion between Joe, Teresa, and their four daughters came after Joe served three years in federal prison and seven months in ICE custody. He is still waiting for the decision in his final deportation appeal after losing his first two.

Joe and Teresa Giudice separated after 20 years of marriage in December 2019, but they have not yet filed for divorce.

The season finale of Real Housewives of New Jersey airs Wednesday night on Bravo.
