Hailey Bieber Says Birth Control Pills Wreaked Havoc On Her Skin
Hailey Bieber is known for her gorgeous complexion, but she’s letting people know that her road to beautiful skin has been a journey. Speaking with People magazine, Hailey revealed that she started birth control pills several years ago for the first time in her life. When she began taking the hormones, she noticed a change in her skin. Hailey’s experience is a common one where women may find that hormonal changes (whether the result of natural or artificial origins) can wreak havoc on the skin. A woman may find that she develops hormonal-related acne at various periods of her life, well beyond her teens. It seems this is what Hailey experienced, but fortunately for the beautiful 23-year-old model, she was able to address the issue and worked it out.
Speaking to People Magazine, Hailey stated the following about her skin changes after going on the pill.
“[My skin was like], Ahh, what’s going on? I ended up finding out my birth control was spiking the level in one of my hormones. I was like, ‘That’s rude!’ but I got it figured out. I think everybody goes through a journey with their skin.”
