Amanda Bynes Speaks About Her Conservatorship — Will Be Going To Court!
Amanda Bynes has made her way back to social media. Since then, she has introduced fans to her new fiance and tattoos.
However, if you’ve been following her story you’d know that the former Nickelodeon star has had to spend time in facilities for drug rehabilitation and mental health issues.
It’s alleged that she met her beau at one of these facilities and the two fell in love.
Now that he’s popped the question, she wants to get married as soon as possible but there’s just one thing standing in her way — her conservatorship.
Like Britney Spears, Amanda is not able to make any huge decisions without her conservator’s approval. For now, Bynes’ parents are responsible for their daughters personal, medical, and financial decisions.
The actress took to Instagram last night to tell fans that she’s going to court because she has insurance that will pay for most of her therapy care at another place but she’s being forced to pay over $5k out of pocket.
‘Today I want to talk about a controversial topic: My conservatorship case. I have been going to a treatment center that charges $5,200 a month. There’s no reason why I shouldn’t go to a therapist who takes my insurance for $5,000 less a month. This is why I’ve asked to see the judge next week regarding this conservatorship issue. Thank you so much guys for hearing me out. I’m sorry that this is what I’m dealing with and I’m sorry that I put my problems onto the Internet, but this is what life has come to. It’s unknown if Amanda will just be addressing the medical care issue or if she will be trying to negotiate all aspects of the conservatorship since her parents will not approve her marriage considering that they haven’t even met Paul Michael yet.
