Lala Kent Talks Co-Parenting With Randall Emmett’s Baby Mama And When She Wants To Have Kids

Lala Kent and Randall Emmett are getting closer and closer to walking down the aisle and saying their ‘I do’s.’ Lala recently opened up about becoming a stepmother and her hope for starting her own family.

If you’re not already privy to the drama, Lala and her fiance’s baby mama Ambyr Childers were at each other’s throats at one point. Their arguments would often spill over to social media where fans saw how nasty they were to each other.

Luckily, the two have called a truce and have learned to peacefully co-parent the two daughters that the You actress shares with Randall Emmett.

Lala revealed on Teddi Mellencamp’s podcast: ‘Ambyr and I were not in a great place, and when we had the meeting before Christmas, there were tears that were shed, there were apologies. I let her know — I’m going to say this without getting choked up. I’m an emotional wreck right now, I don’t know why — I just basically thanked her because those girls that she brought into the world are like, my life is forever changed, forever better for them, and now she doesn’t have a problem. So I think when you put the personal issues aside and remember the one goal is to make these kids incredible human beings that can go out into the world and take it on, that’s all that matters.’

Now that the drama between the ladies is resolved, the engaged couple revealed plans for the future.

‘I would have started yesterday, but Randall is like, ‘We have to be married for at least one year before we get it poppin’. And I’m like, ‘OK, well, that’s nine months to make a baby, so we can just get it poppin’ and then you know in a year the baby will be here!’

It’s great to see that Ambyr and Lala are no longer at odds.
