Kobe Bryant Fans Gather At The Scene Of The Helicopter Crash To Pay Their Respects

After the tragedy that took Kobe Bryant and his 13 year old daughter, fans of the legendary basketball player are gathering at the scene of the wreckage to pay their respects! As you probably know by now, the father and daughter as well as 7 more people lost their lives in a helicopter crash.

Now, many have shown up around the horrifying scene where there are also a lot of emergency workers making their way through the smoke and wreckage.

Reports say that the fire caused by the crash has actually started a brush fire which then prevented the emergency people from getting onto the site at first.

One clip obtained by Backgrid, shows a horrifying landscape of thick fog and clouds of smoke rising up from the burning helicopter wreck.

A firetruck can also be seen in the shaky footage as well as another helicopter flying over the area.

The authorities have confirmed in a press conference that the first responders and the emergency personnel had no choice but to hike just to get past the crashing site.

Furthermore, they also mentioned that it was clear that unfortunately, no one had survived.

It’s believed that the crash happened at around 10 A.M. PT and that the conditions were foggy, although the cause of the accident is still under investigation.

As fans gather at the site of the crash to leave flowers and photos all the while mourning and paying their respects together, many are also doing the same on social media.

That includes both fans as well as public personalities such as none other than Barack Obama!

The former POTUS tweeted that Kobe ‘was a legend on the court and was just getting started in what would’ve been just as meaningful of a second act. To lose Gianna’s even more heartbreaking to us all as parents. Michelle and I send our love and prayers to Vanessa and the entire Bryant family on an unthinkable day.’
