Abby Huntsman Leaves ‘The View’ After Two Seasons – Check Out Her Announcement!

Amid many speculations that Meghan McCain was going to leave The View following her explosive arguments with her co-hosts, it turns out that someone really is exiting the show but it’s not her! Instead, the one to sign off is none other than Abby Huntsman!

The 33 years old journalist has been part of the talk show for no more than two seasons but she’s taken the decision to leave in order to help her father, Jon Huntsman Jr., with his gubernatorial campaign.

In a note to the staff, earlier today, she stated that: ‘ABC has been my family for a long time and I’m thankful to have had a seat at the table of such an iconic show..  After much deliberation, I’ve decided to leave The View to dedicate myself full time in supporting my father and his campaign for Governor of Utah. You know that I think the world of all of you.‘

She went on to also tell them that ‘You’re some of the most talented, hardworking and genuine people I have ever worked with. The staff’s the engine of the show and you never get nearly enough credit for what you do. I applaud and thank you for welcoming me to the family on day one. You always made me look much better than I ever could’ve on my own. Thank you for believing in me and for all of the laughs along the way.’

As fans remember, Huntsman joined The View in September of 2018.

After she announced her departure from the show earlier today, the executive producers shared a super sweet message to her in which they gushed over her dedication and more!

It also seems like her co-hosts will miss her a lot despite their many conflicts on the show.

After all, Huntsman herself has insisted that they are still close friends and care about each other a lot, regardless of their arguments on many topics.
