Nnamdi Kanu Calls Out FG Over Deployment Of Troops In His Hometown

The leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has queried the federal government’s deployment of soldiers to his home town instead of combatting the insecurity in the country.

The reported stationing of army is coming few days ahead of the burial of parents of the IPOB leader: HRH Eze Israel Okwu Kanu and Ugoeze Sally Kanu, scheduled to hold on February 14 in Isiama Afaraukwu community,Abia State.

According to reports, soldiers have blocked all roads leading to the Palace.

Reacting to the development via his Twitter page, Kanu pointed out that the soldiers ought to be fighting the Boko Haram terrorists rather than coming to his state.
