Nicole Richie And Lionel Richie Were Very ‘Weary’ About Sofia’s Relationship With Scott Disick
There were a lot of doubters right from the start. Scott Disick and Sofia Richie officially broke up, and while many did not see it coming, her sister and father, Nicole Richie and Lionel Richie were quite “weary” of it from the beginning.
A source who spoke with Us Magazine claimed that Sofia’s father and sister played a crucial role in much of their relationship problems. In other words, sources claimed that Sofia was under pressure from her family to break it off with Scott.
The insider shared that ever since Scott and Sofia stopped spending so much time together, Sofia began hanging around her older sister, Nicole, and it’s very possible that Nicole’s opinion of Scott may have changed Sofia’s mind.
Reportedly, the 38-year-old fashion designer never “supported” Sofia’s romance with Scott. She only wanted the best for her sister, and in her mind, it wasn’t manifested in a relationship with Scott, who already has three kids with another woman, Kourtney Kardashian.

As it was previously reported, on the 27th of May, Wednesday, it was confirmed that the 37-year-old reality star and the 22-year-old model broke it off for good after three years of dating.
Just a few weeks before it went down, Scott also checked into a rehab center in Colorado, however, he soon left after photos of him in the facility leaked to the press. Around the same time, Us Magazine reported that Scott and Sofia were taking some time off from each other.
A source shared that the couple needed some time apart so Disick could figure out his life again. As it was noted above, Scott has three children with the oldest Kardashian sister, Kourtney. They have Mason, Reign, and Penelope.
During a conversation with Us Magazine in recent news, an insider explained that it was a tough pill for Sofia to swallow that Scott would always prioritize his relationship with Kourtney and his kids over his romance with her. It wasn’t something she wanted to deal with anymore.
