Justin Bieber Files Defamation Lawsuit Over Twitter Sexual Assault Allegations — Seeks $20 Million

Justin Bieber is not taking the accusations he sexually assaulted two women who went by the names Danielle and Kadi lightly. In fact, he’s filed two defamation lawsuits against the Twitter users who made the allegations on Twitter last week. At this time, it is unclear exactly who Danielle or Kadi are, if they are the same person, and if those are their real names — but an investigation involved in the case should determine who the account owners are. Both Twitter accounts claimed to be owned by victims who say that Justin sexually assaulted them in 2014 and 2015. Justin Bieber has denied the allegations and presented his evidence to show that it was factually impossible for him to have sexually assaulted either of the women. Beiber states that the account holders are looking for fame and he can prove his innocence.

Not only is Justin seeking to clear his name, but he is suing each account holder for monetary damages to the tune of $10 million.

Justin hasn’t ruled out the possibility that both accounts are run by the same person who is out to make money by using malicious tactics.

TMZ obtained the court documents and reported on the story. You may see TMZ’s report below.

The user named Danielle stated that Justin Beiber assaulted her on March 9, 2014, at the Four Season Hotel located in Austin, Texas. Justin Bieber counters that he wasn’t in the hotel on the date the alleged assault took place and he can prove it.

The next accuser who used the Twitter handle Kadi says Justin Beiber assaulted her on May 5, 2015. Again, Justin Bieber denied the allegations.

Justin says he is ready to prove his innocence in a court of law. Justin Bieber’s defamation lawsuit may be the first of many as the MeToo movement has given more people the freedom to come forward with allegations of sexual abuse and assault. While this is very important in legitimate cases where justice is needed, it has proved disastrous for men who are being falsely accused and vilified unfairly.
