Mama June And Geno Doak Complete 30 Day Rehab — Fans Congratulate Her For Being Sober For Five Months
Fans have been on a long journey with Mama June Shannon. It seems that her new life went downhill when she met and fell in love with her boyfriend Geno Doak; however, in this season of Mama June: Family Crisis — that wasn’t the story.
Viewers found out that Mama June has actually struggled with drugs multiple times in her life. Geno admitted to the same thing.
After getting arrested, selling her house, and living from hotel to hotel, the two seemingly hit rock bottom and decided to check into inpatient rehab.
This was a shock for June’s family who saw her try and quit rehab twice, but the couple completed their 30-day stint. June took to Instagram after the show to ask for money for a friend who passed away due to addiction and reveal that she’s five months clean.
The reality star added a comment that read: ‘HELLO I DIDN’T MAKE THE GO FUND ME I HAVE MONEY IM SHARING IT ON BEHALF OF HIS FAMILY SO PLZ STOP WITH THE B****** WE LOST A DEAR FRIEND TO A HORRIBLE DISEASE OF ADDICTION WE R CLEAN N HAPPY TODAY IS ACTUALLY 5 MTHS.’
Fans were happy to hear that she was finally clean.
‘I’m so proud of you and Geno! I have cried so many times watching this show , your kids are such good kids. That jennifer is the DEVIL and she better never get your daughter , keep up the good work and were all rooting for you tailor,’ wrote one emotional viewer.
‘So proud of you and Geno for making it through rehab and staying clean. It’s not going to be an easy road , but you both can do it! Stay strong and I will be donating and condolences for y’alls loss,’ added another.
This follower added these encouraging words: ‘I hope you and geno are doing good! So proud of you!! One day at a time.’
