Kristen Wiig And Fiance Avi Rothman Welcome Twin Babies Via Surrogate!

The former Saturday Night Live comedian and Hollywood actress is a new mom of two! That’s right – Kristen Wiig and her fiance Avi Rothman have welcomed a pair of twins via a surrogate and they obviously could not be any happier!

Us Weekly was the first to report that Kristen and Avi welcomed their twin bundles of joy earlier this year but kept it all under wraps.

There have been speculations starting with last month, that she was getting ready to be a mom, however, and it looks like the rumors were true.

The speculations were sparked by the message she dedicated to her mom on Mother’s Day while on Saturday Night Live: At Home.

‘I do not know if I truly appreciated my mom the very first 45 years of my life. But this year I am feeling especially grateful for her advice and her love. I am so thankful for all of the things she has taught me, like preparing me to be a mom myself. Things like breast feeding. Babies love that chicken, she’d always say that,’ the comedian said, raising up a plate of chicken breast.

She went on to, on a more serious note, show her mom even more appreciation and gratitude.

At the same time, the star made sure to send some love to all the mothers out there as well: ‘I do want to thank my mom, and all of the moms out there, who have been helping us get through this and who’ve been there, and who are just watching over us. We thank you so much. Happy Mother’s Day. Thank you, moms.’

The happy news that Wiig is a new mom of twins comes after her relatively recent engagement that took place last year.

Before that, the lovebirds dated for no less than three years. Congratulations Kristen and Avi!
