Martha Stewart is living her best life in East Hampton, New York and she is reminding others about that fact! Sharing a pool selfie with her 940.9k Instagram followers, the 78-year-old has created a new meme and unintentionally launched the #MarthaStewartChallenge. Martha looked flawless in her pool, but her post went viral for all the wrong reasons. Everyone knows that Martha is an amazing lifestyle guru and no one would expect her pool to be anything but spectacular, but many people who aren’t living luxurious lifestyles are recreating Martha’s photo in humourous ways.

Here is the description and photo that Martha Stewart shared with her Instagram followers.

My pool in East Hampton is the place to be on a 89 degree day! When I built the pool thirty years ago it was designed to be as chlorine free as possible, with a natural concrete finish-no paint- and it fit in a long narrow space between the house and the property line. I made it extra deep for diving and with no protruding steps so we could really race the length without worrying about obstacles. After all these years, It is a fun place to swim!!!

Chelsea Handler recreated the pool selfie and Martha Stewart left a comment underneath her photo! Martha didn’t waste any time letting Chelsea know that her pool was better than Chelsea’s and even stated that her face looked more relaxed than Chelsea’s. Elvira recreated the pool selfie and took a humorous approach by posing in an inflatable pool in East L.A. as opposed to East Hampton.
