Kanye West Met The Deadline To Appear On New Jersey Ballot For 2020 Presidential Election
The New York Post learned today that the Yeezy creator, Kanye West, has filed to appear as a candidate on the New Jersey ballot for the upcoming presidential election in November. The state documents purport to confirm the news.
According to The Post, the 43-year-old performing artist managed to accrue 1,327 signatures, which is approximately 527 over the requested 800 figure. The deadline was met on Monday.
Reportedly, Kanye has submitted similar paperwork in Missouri a well as in New York. To make it on New York’s ballot, Kanye has to amass 30,000 signatures for Thursday’s deadline.
Kanye, who’s currently staying at his 40,000-acre ranch in Cody, Wyoming, has chosen to run under the party, Birthday Party, however, the official paperwork says the official slogan hasn’t been created yet.
As it was previously reported, Kanye announced he was going to run for the top position in the Oval Office of the White House on the 4th of July. Not long after, he released a number of posts in which he talked about his marriage to Kim Kardashian as well as his mother-in-law.
Moreover, Kanye put on his first campaign rally in South Carolina which many media outlets, rappers, and entertainment industry figures mocked. Kanye took the stage to make a number of shocking claims, including the fact he and Kim once considered aborting their child.

Near the beginning of July, Kanye also paid the $35,000 fee to appear on the 3rd of November ballot in Oklahoma as well as for the Federal Election Commission.
Other reports have argued, however, that Kanye has missed key primaries in other states such as Florida, and has a very, very small chance of winning.
Earlier this year, Kanye took to his Twitter account to accuse his wife, Kim Kardashian of being “out-of-line” when she met up with Meek Mill to discuss prison reform. West said he had still respect for Meek who supposedly did nothing wrong.
Meek Mill responded on his account by claiming Kanye’s story was “all cap,” meaning, untrue.
