Kanye West References Famous Drake Rant In New Song With Ty Dolla $ign

Even though Kanye West will forgive his past nemesis, it’s clear that he still remembers. Hollywood Life captured the new song from Kanye West, Skrillex, and Ty Dolla $ign today, in which the notorious rapper sampled his infamous Instagram rant about Drake.

According to the outlet, “Ego Death” made its way onto all streaming services on the 1st of July, and the song features part of Kanye’s Instagram rants in which he slammed Drake for claiming he slept with his wife before she married Kanye.

Fans of Kanye know this is just one of many projects the artist has in the works right now. Earlier this year, it was revealed that the Ye rapper was going to start working with the fashion company, Gap.

Coincidentally, Kanye worked at the store when he was a teenager, a fact many outlets commented on. In one of the artist’s older songs, he claimed that he stole products from the store but never got caught.

It’s unclear if Kanye and Gap ever talked about the line during their collaboration, but many social media users had fun speculating on how that discussion likely would’ve gone.

Furthermore, the rapper revealed that a Dr. Dre version of his last record, Jesus Is King, would also come out, in addition to a number of other projects including a cartoon animation involving his frequent collaborator, Kid Cudi.

On his social media account, Kanye West and his wife, Kim Kardashian, wrote that it was the “#WestDayEver.” Fans of Kanye know he has frequently been in the headlines over the last few years, perhaps most controversially, when he came out as a Trump supporter.

When Kanye revealed he supported Donald Trump, he faced serious criticism from the entertainment industry and even his peers in the hip-hop community. However, after the controversy subsided, Kanye came out to say that he felt like his words and support were used in a way he wasn’t comfortable with.
