Vanderpump Rules: Stassi Schroeder And Kristen Doute Publicly Apologize To Faith Stowers

Days after resurfaced podcast clips, Stassi Schroeder is finally speaking on what she’s done and said. Kristen Doute also released an apology for being her partner in crime at the time.

After years have gone by, Faith Stowers was finally able to tell her truth about how she was ousted by the Vanderpump Rules cast for hooking up with Jax Taylor.

This was already public knowledge but was resurfaced after the two posted about the Black Lives Matter movement. Since there is a very active hashtag called #amplifyblackvoices also trending, Faith’s conversation with Candice Renee of Floribama Shore went viral in the Bravo universe.

Faith touched on the situation where Stassi and Kristen teamed up to call the police and turn her in for a crime she did not commit.

It wasn’t just the malicious incident involving Faith that brought attention back to Schroeder. Her past comments that she came under fire for about the Black Lives Matter movement also went viral again.

She asked why is it always about black people.

The author took to Instagram to apologize.

‘Racially insensitive comments from my past have resurfaced. It is important that I continue to take accountability for what I have said and done, while pushing myself to do better. I have grown significantly from the person I was then, and I am still filled with remorse and regret for the hurt I caused. I am grateful for the people in my life that continue to check me and push me to evolve into a more educated person. My emotions over something that happened between our friends outweighed my logic, and there is no excuse for that. I did not recognize then the serious ramifications that could have transpired because of my actions. What I did to Faith was wrong. I apologize and I do not expect forgiveness.’

Just seven minutes before her statement, Kristen released her own mea culpa.

‘Although, my actions were not racially driven, I am now completely aware of how my privilege blinded me from the reality of law enforcement’s treatment of the black community, and how dangerous my actions would have been to her. It never was my intention to add to the injustice and imbalance. I’m ashamed, embarrassed, and incredibly sorry. I will do better. I have to do better.’

Since the apologies were released at the same time, fans believed that it was a coordinated effort and questioned if they were being genuine or not.

Regardless of the apologies, viewers have been calling for Bravo and Lisa Vanderpump to get a more diverse cast for years now.
