Miracle! How newborn baby dumped in pit was rescued alive (Photos)

On Saturday, August 8, around 3:40pm on Saturday, an abandoned newborn baby boy was seen inside a soakaway in Olori, Ifo LGA, Ogun State, by some little children playing outside.

The children alerted the elders and this led to the rescue of the innocent baby. The chairman of the local government, Hon. Fola Salami was thereafter informed and he was rushed to one of the Health Care Centres in the area where he was stabilized.

Earlier this year, Kemi Filani News had reported that how a lifeless body of a newborn baby has been found wrapped in a cloth and dumped at a refuse site in Calabar.

The baby who was allegedly dumped by the mother on Sunday night was found the following morning by residents of Atimbo.
