Faith Stowers Says It’s Jax Taylor’s Turn To Be Fired From Vanderpump Rules

After a major cast shakeup this week at Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules, Faith Stowers says the network still has more work to do. On Tuesday, Bravo fired Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute because of their past racist actions against Stowers. Now, she says Bravo should fire Jax Taylor, too, because he “probably had more terrible things to say than these two young ladies.”

While speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Stowers – who is the only black person to be part of the cast of Vanderpump Rules in the reality show’s eight seasons – says that Taylor is incredibly mean, but he always gets away with it.

“He’s said very, very mean things to new cast members. He did not receive me and Lala Kent very well when we first started,” Stowers claims. “He said very mean things to us as well, later on apologizing. But it seems like he continues to get away with everything he does and I’m not sure why, especially at his age. It’s not like he’s doing this as a young adult, as a kid and just making these little mistakes young people sometimes do.”

Stowers added that Taylor is a “grown man in this society,” and this is the life he wants to live. However, she feels like Lisa Vanderpump should step in and tell him he is wrong.

“She really needs to reprimand him off the show as well,” said Stowers.

Bravo and Evolution Media issued a statement on Tuesday confirming that they had fired Schroeder and Doute because of their actions against Stowers. They also let go of newbies Max Boyens and Brett Caprioni because of past racist tweets that had resurfaced.

Schroeder and Doute got the axe after Stowers revealed on Instagram Live that in 2018, the two ladies called the police on her for crimes that she had nothing to do with. Stowers says that it was a “very painful” experience, and she was in a bad spot because she had never been the victim of that kind of bullying before.

She explained that she was just getting over the bullying that she had to endure from Vanderpump Rules fans when Taylor cheated on Brittany Cartwright with her, and she was trying to move forward with her life.

Then, Stowers says that she got a call from MTV to compete on The Challenge, and she was excited to move forward to a new chapter. It was at that time when Schroeder and Doute called the cops on her because they were “pretty much trying to destroy” Stowers.

“They tried to have the military also arrest me or take me down because they thought I went AWOL, not knowing that I have honorable discharge papers that show that I had done my eight years of service for my country,” claims Stowers.

She says that after that didn’t work, Taylor, Schroeder, and Doute – on the night of Sheana Shay’s birthday party – claimed that Stowers stole Taylor’s car after it went missing from his home. She says they accused her of grand theft auto, and that was hard to take in and made her feel numb.

After Schroeder and Doute’s termination, Stowers says that she wasn’t necessarily happy about it, but she knew that it was going to change their lives. What she is happy about is that a huge production company like Bravo has taken the time to give a voice back to the people and say “we hear you.”

Faith Stowers also believes Vanderpump Rules should remain on the air because the show is a “great idea.” However, she thinks that maybe they could cast people who are more relatable to people of color.
