Abike Dabiri-Erewa replied Toyin Abraham for saying Nigerians should not be subject to suffering

Abike Dabiri-Erewa, the chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NiDCOM, has replied actress Toyin Abraham who questioned why Nigerians are made to feel like they have no leader.

Toyin Abraham made the statement in a tweet in reaction to a Nigerian woman trapped in Saudi Arabia.

“I go this video from some Nigerians in Saudi Arabia. It made me cry. I am so sad right now. Please Federal Government stand up for these people. How long will Nigerians will continue to feel like we have no leader? Please evacuate our people. Nigerians should not be subject to suffering simply because we carry green passports. I am truly sad. So sad. @abikedabiri”, she wrote.

Abike Dabiri-Erewa replied by telling her to use her influence to make sure that Nigerians in the Diaspora respect the laws of the land they find themselves in.

“As someone in the entertainment world, you can also use your great network to advise Nigerians to obey laws of other lands. Respect begets respect. Its tough being a legal migrant, not to talk of an illegal one”, she tweeted.
