Adam Levine Debuts New Haircut In Brand New Music Video And Rallies Behind Pro-Marijuana Cause

People Magazine reported today that Adam Levine, the Maroon 5 frontman, has a brand new hairstyle for the group’s latest music video, “Nobody’s Love.” The 41-year-old singer-songwriter rocks a shaved head and a full beard.

Interestingly, the band has chosen a new political cause to rally behind. The video features Adam rolling a marijuana joint with a glass of red wine by his side.

And the final section of the video includes a message from the American Civil Liberties Union, which calls for the US government to put an end to the “War on Marijuana.”

According to the ACLU, the “War on Marijuana” costs billions of dollars every year, and needlessly pushes people into the US criminal justice system, taking up valuable resources and unnecessarily impacting people’s lives.

Furthermore, the last line of the message claims the “War on Marijuana” has been carried out with clear racial bias. According to People Magazine, the band’s new music video was directed by David Dobkin who has worked with other big-named artists like Cardi B.

The group’s new track follows their 2019 track, “Memories.” While Maroon 5 has continued with their incredibly successful career, they have encountered difficulties in recent months, including when their bassist suddenly quit the band.

As it was previously reported, Michael “Mickey” Madden, the bass player, stepped down from his duties in the group due to allegations of domestic violence. The 41-year-old released a statement to People Magazine in which he claimed he had a number of personal issues to deal with.

The police apprehended Madden on felony charges in Los Angeles back in June. On the same day, People Magazine reported, the authorities released him on a $50,000 bond.

Not long after, the band revealed they were going to start their next tour following the cancelation of their 2020 concerts on account of the coronavirus pandemic. The band was supposed to go on tour in May of this year, however, they will resume their world tour on the 15th of July, 2021.

The group joined a number of other artists who have done the same thing, including Justin Bieber and The Weeknd.
