Vanessa Morgan’s Husband Michael Kopech Reportedly Filed For Divorce Weeks Before Her Pregnancy And Gender Reveal Post!

According to some new reports, baseball player Michael Kopech has actually filed for divorce from Vanessa Morgan weeks before the announcement that she is 3 months pregnant! As you might know, the Riverdale actress just told the world that she is currently expecting a baby boy but it turns out that it does not mean her marriage is going great as well.

Now, multiple reports are saying that Kopech went ahead and filed the necessary divorce papers on June 19.

This comes days after Vanessa Morgan shared the news of her first pregnancy.

Sure enough, the announcement she posted did not mention her husband at all.

In the meantime, Kopech took time off from the White Sox due to reported ‘personal reasons’ and now, those reasons seem to be revealed.

The stars got engaged only last year in July and tied the knot in January so they haven’t been married for a long time at all!

It just sounds like things did not work out for them but, either way, now they will most likely continue to be linked forever because of their son, unless the yet to be born baby was actually fathered by someone else, of course.

The last post featuring Kopech from Morgan came on May 1 when she shared a Happy Birthday post for him.

As for her pregnancy announcement, Vanessa Morgan found out she was expecting on May 20.

She wrote, alongside the gender reveal video that: ‘I can’t believe how much growth and strength you have already given me as your mom. It is like God knew that I needed you, my angel. The universe works in mysterious ways but it always times everything the way that it was meant to be. Lil’ one you were made with so much love and already exude a light so strong it warms my belly.’
