Johnny Depp’s Lawyers Say Amber Heard Attacked Her Sister Whitney Henriquez – She Has A History Of Violence Lawyers Claimed
Johnny Depp’s libel lawsuit against The Sun has continued. Page Six learned today that Johnny’s legal team obtained a video to prove Amber had once assaulted her sister to the point where she suffered bruises and lacerations on her face.
David Sherborne, Johnny Depp‘s lawyer, revealed to the court that they had gotten their hands on video footage on Thursday night which showed Whitney Henriquez, Amber Heard‘s sister, with visible bruising and marks following a fight with Amber, the Aquaman star.
Before the judge, Depp’s attorney, Sherborne, said they were contacted regarding Amber’s history of violence including assaulting people close to her. Sherborne asked the judge to tell Henriquez to sit on the exterior of the courtroom as he revealed the evidence.
According to The Evening Standard, Depp’s lawyers claimed their evidence shows Henriquez had lied in her testimony the previous day. The purpose of the video was to show whether Heard really was a violent person.
Depp’s lawyer also asked the judge to tell Amber and Whitney to avoid communicating through text messages as the evidence was presented.
The judge responded by claiming there was no reason to believe Amber would not obey the order regarding speaking with Henriquez about the testimony. Reportedly, Henriquez took the stand on Thursday and claimed she was never afraid of Amber.
In fact, Henriquez says she once saw Depp punch his ex-wife in the face a bunch of times after grabbing her by the hair. It’s not clear if the judge will permit the use of the video.
As it was previously reported, Depp is currently suing The Sun for a 2018 article in which they accused him of abusing his then-wife, Amber Heard. The outlet referenced him as a “wife-beater” in their headline regarding the actor’s hiring in a new movie.
Mr. Depp has denied ever assaulting Amber and says it was her who was abusive during their romance. Depp has called Amber “sociopathic.” Earlier this year, it was reported that the actor once wrote “I love you” with the blood from his severed finger after Amber reportedly threw a vodka bottle at him.
