Miranda Lambert’s Husband Retired From The NYPD Following His Leave Of Absence

Brendan McLoughlin, Miranda Lambert’s husband, has reportedly stepped away from the police force, a new report from People Magazine revealed. An NYPD DCPI spokesperson stated that the police officer’s duty status has been declared as “retired.”

Fans of Lambert know that McLoughlin has previously taken a leave of absence from the NYPD, but it turns out that he retired altogether. Fox News was the first to reveal McLoughlin’s change in career path. As for what he has been doing instead, Fox News states he has joined her on the road.

McLoughlin has been working on setting up security for not only her Wildcard tour but also for meetings with the fans. This past fall, McLoughlin worked with his wife during her Roadside Bars and Pink Guitars tour.

According to reports, Lambert and her husband spoke for the first time in November 2018. She was performing on Good Morning America at the time with her group, The Pistol Annies. Lambert later revealed that she and the former police officer got married in a private ceremony on the 26th of January, 2019.

Their marriage came as a surprise to many people, which Lambert knew, as she spoke with People and explained why she thought marrying Brendan was a great idea. Lambert added that she had gone through marriage before, it was public, and so was her divorce.

Miranda was once tied to Blake Shelton. These days, her view on marriage, and how to present it to the public, is a lot more reserved. She claims she made it a “point” to keep it out of the public’s eye as much as possible.

Moving on from her past life, Lambert admits that her man is such a great traveler who loves it so much, which has made things a lot easier for both of them on account of her career. She claimed he was ready to go anywhere at the drop of a dime.

Lambert and McLoughlin celebrated their first wedding anniversary earlier this month. She wrote on her social media that she was “so happy” to experience life with him.
