Festus Keyamo warns pastors over coronavirus
The Minister of State for Labour and Productivity, Festus Keyamo, SAN, has warned pastors against flouting the order on large gathering due to coronavirus.
Many State Governments have placed a ban on gathering of more than 50 people which affected many church services last Sunday.
However, some churches didn’t comply with the order as they held services with more than 50 people present.
In reaction, Festus Keyamo advised against flouting the order via a tweet.
His post read: “Aside the spiritual angle to this scourge, we must all work and pray; God can only help those who help themselves. Those our recalcitrant Pastors must realise this.
“All the directives of NCDC must be followed to the letter by all and sundry before it can quickly end in praise.”
